Revitalization of government housing projects
In Japan there are many old government housing projects that are in need of renovations and repositioning to meet the needs of current lifestyles. In this example we renovated a 57-year-old building with the concept of making a "hands on" community. We made it possible for residents to work on DIY projects in their apartments, and built a shed in the private garden where residents can borrow DIY tools and work on DIY projects. In addition, we invite community builders to live in the building to help plan events and build a relationships.
